Setting up Product Machine Plan Imports

A job scheduler task must be added to import production plans from CSV files.

  1. Create the production plan CSV file and upload it to a directory on the job scheduler.
    You must create the production plan CSV file according to the field specifications listed in Product Machine Plan Import field specification.
  2. Create a Java task in the job scheduler using the Aggregate Task option.
  3. Click the Parameters button for the new task.
  4. Select Import task and the Interface Task in the Available Task Types column and click Add/Remove.
  5. Click Configure Selected Tasks.
  6. Click Parameters for the Import Task.
  7. Specify this information for the Import Task:
    Import Type
    Select PRODUCT MACHINE PLAN IMPORT.
    File Name
    Specify the path to the production plan CSV file on the job scheduler.
    Use Default Transformer
    Select this check box.
    UTF-8 Encoded
    Select this check box.
    Performs Difference
    Clear this check box.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. Click Parameters for the Interface Task.
  10. Select PRODUCT MACHINE PLAN IMPORT in the Interface Type drop-down, and click Next.
  11. Select PRODUCT MACHINE PLAN MAPPING in the Mapping Name drop-down.
  12. Click Submit.
  13. Run the task.
The task runs and imports production plans specified in the CSV file.
