Error messages

You can view the logs in the Job Scheduler or the Import Transactions page for errors during a Work Summary Import. See Job Scheduler.

Errors are also shown in the Import Log Report. See the Workforce Performance Implementation and Administration Guide.

This table lists the possible error messages from the Message column in the Import Transactions page for a Work Summary Import:

Error Message Description
Error: {EMP_NAME/WORK_DATE} cannot be null. Required fields cannot be null.
Error: Employee {x} was not found. The employee was not found.
Error: Override Type {x} was not found. The override type was not found.
Error: Calc Group Name {x} was not found. The calculation group name was not found.
Error: {WRKS_ERROR/WRKS_MESSAGES/WRKS_COMMENTS} exceeds the maximum field length of 1000 characters. The {WRKS_ERROR/WRKS_MESSAGES/WRKS_COMMENTS} in the imported record is more than 1000 characters.
