Selection Parameters for Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS report
This section describes the selection parameters for the Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS report.
- File Specification Version
- The file specification version that the data in the report conforms to. This parameter will only display the version that is certified for this release of WFM.
- Facility
- Specify a Facility.
A Facility is created via the Facility Mapping maintenance form: Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Advanced Settings > ES Data Definitions > Facility Mapping. A facility record has a Name, Description, ID and the associated US State. For more information on creating a facility mapping, see Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide. You must complete this task before running the Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS.
- Fiscal Quarter
- Specify a fiscal quarter for the generated report.
- Fiscal Year
- Specify the fiscal year for the generated report.
- Software Vendor Name
- Displays the software vendor name for the generated report.
- Software Vendor Email
- Displays the software vendor email for the generated report.
- Software Product Name
- Displays the software product name for the generated report.
- Process Type
- Specify either Merge or Replace.
The

tags are used to control how the data within these sections will be processed. There are two possible values forprocessType
:merge
andreplace
. IfprocessType
is set to the valuereplace
, then all the data for that specific section (census or staffing) for the specified quarter will be removed from the active database, and then replaced with the data submitted in the file. IfprocessType
is set to the valuemerge
, then the data within that section will be processed as follows:- Staffing Hours data will be matched on the employeeId and date. If data exists for a specific day/employeeId combination, it will be overwritten; otherwise the data for that day is simply added.
- Census data will be matched on the month end date. If data exists for a specific month end date, it will be overwritten; otherwise the data for that day is simply added.
- Start Date
- Specify the fiscal quarter start date for the organization that will be used in the generated report.
- End Date
- Specify the fiscal quarter end date for the organization that will be used in the generated report.
- Report Format
- Displays the report format of Excel. This parameter is only displayed for the Run Now option and is not available when scheduling a report.
