Rule: Minimum Hours Per Day
This rule sets the minimum hours that an employee must work on a scheduled working day.
Overview
The Minimum Hours Per Day rule determines whether an employee has met the least amount of time specified for the day. This rule counts the sum of all work hours scheduled for that day, even if they are spread across multiple shifts. However, this rule does not consider days where there are no shifts scheduled.
When a shift is scheduled but the amount of time does not meet this minimum, a violation occurs.
Violation Area
Violations count against the appropriate day.
Example
An example would be to set a minimum of 3 scheduled hours for each scheduled day.
