DAY_WEEK_STARTS

Description:

This parameter specifies the system week start date. The timesheet starts each week according to this day. For example, if you set this parameter to Wednesday and then select This Week from the Selection Parameters screen, the week will start on a Wednesday.

For Attendance Management, this parameter is only used if the Calendar Week time period is selected for the Period Type field of the Violation Setup screen.

This parameter is also used by the Availability Management module, as this parameter replaces the AMX_DOW_ST parameter. This value should be configured before using the module and should not be changed. The day of the week corresponds to the days as they are displayed in the specific Availability screen.

If you change this parameter for availability, the AMZAV_DAY1 parameter will still be Monday. Although DAY1 implies the first day of the week, DAY1 is always Monday.
