BREAKS_ARE_ABSENT

Description:

This parameter controls whether employees on break (whose most recent clock is a break-related time code clock) are considered to be At Work or Absent in the status widgets (My Employees control in the desktop notification bar and My Staff widget in Mobile WFM). This registry parameter is only applicable when the USE_LEGACY_LOGIC registry parameter is set to FALSE (the default).

When set to TRUE, employees who have a most recent clock equaling a break-related time code during their scheduled times will be considered Absent. Use this setting to exclude employees from the At Work category while they are on break.

Note: When using this setting, we recommend that you localize the category name from Absent to be more generic, such as Away or Off the Clock.

When set to FALSE, employees who have a most recent clock equaling a break-related time code will be considered At Work. This is the default.

Note: This parameter only applies to employees who explicitly clock for breaks. Implied breaks (scheduled breaks that are automatically inserted on the timesheet but not clocked against) are not considered in the break logic.
