Multiview Scheduler (MVS)

Create schedules using Self Scheduling in the WFM desktop application

The Real-time Self-scheduler (RTSS) can now be accessed using the Self Scheduling screen in the WFM application. Employees can use this screen to create their own schedules by selecting available shifts from an open self-scheduling process. Employee shift selections are validated to ensure that schedules are in compliance with self-scheduling rules and schedule compliance rules.

See "Self Scheduling screen" in the Infor Workforce Management Real-time Self-scheduler User Guide.

Generate schedules from production workloads

The production workload feature can be used to generate employee schedules for the production of physical goods. This feature is useful for customers in manufacturing that schedule employees who are responsible for producing products using specific machines.

Customers can enable the production workload feature by configuring production templates and production plans. Production templates specify a shift template, which defines a level of staffing, that is required to produce a product using a specific machine. Production plans define demand schedules by specifying when products must be produced using specific machines. Unassigned shifts are generated for production plans, using the Production Template Import task, and can be assigned using Auto-Assignment or other MVS features. Customers can import production plans and production templates from external systems to facilitate the automatic generation of employee schedules.

See "Configuring production workloads" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.
