Archiving policy for Attendance Control logs
The ATTENDANCE CONTROL LOGS archiving policy definition has been added for Attendance Control logs.
System administrators can use this new archive policy with the Archive Policy Runner task to automatically migrate records for event and violation logs to the archive schema when they reach a specified age, improving the performance and user experience.
See "Archiving" in the Infor Workforce Management Application Configuration Guide.
New Daily Timesheet logic to adjust the shift end date based on changes to shift end time
New logic has been introduced on the Daily Timesheet to adjust the shift end date based on a user's adjustment to the shift end time in the work details. For example, if a user adjusts the work detail end time of an overnight shift from 1:00am on the next day to 11:30pm on the current day, the shift end time in the work detail is automatically set to 11:30pm on the current day. Previously, the system did not adjust the shift end date to the current day in this scenario.
Changes to overtime requests
These changes were made to overtime requests:
- Form validation that prevented employees from requesting overtime on past days was removed.
- Form validation that forced employees to request overtime hours in multiples of 0.5 was removed.
- Validation errors are displayed upon submission of the form instead of being sent in workmail.
See "Overtime Request form" in the Infor Workforce Management Daily Timesheet User Guide.
Ordering clocks by date and time before processing
You can change the order that clocks are processed in by configuring the CLOCKS_ORDER_BEFORE_PROCESSING registry parameter to sort the clocks in the CLOCK_TRAN_PEND_J table by date and time before processing. By default, the clocks in the CLOCK_TRAN_PEND_J table are processed based on CTPJ_ID.
See the Infor Workforce Management Registry Parameter Reference Guide for more information.
