ANY Job in Shift Configuration

By leveraging the use of the ANY job, shifts can now be configured with a “placeholder” job. This new feature allows organizations to minimize the amount of shift configuration, while having the ability to “inherit” the actual job from Master Rotations or One-time Schedules. Upon creating ad-hoc shifts in the Advanced Schedule View, the system will leverage contextual information such as the employee’s preferred job, to determine the actual job for which the ad-hoc shift should be created.

As a result of this feature, employees that are scheduled using MVS are required to have one preferred job and home team specified at all times. See the Multiview Scheduler Implementation Guide.
