Payroll Close Wizard

The Payroll Close Wizard is a new user interface that guides payroll administrators step- by-step through the payroll export process, including off-cycle exports for retroactive adjustments and terminated employees. The Wizard is supported by alerts that instruct users of all kinds when and how to perform required actions, and by tasks that automate user actions wherever possible. Enhancements to pay groups and calendars ease the payroll setup process, and support for semimonthly pay periods is now included.

New Pay Rules

Feature Pack 5 continues the addition of frequently-customized rules to Core begun in Feature Pack 3. These rules are consolidated along with existing Core rules into four new Core rules:

• Unauthorize Rule
• Shift Premium Rule, supported by new Shift Premium Zone maintenance form
• Weekly Overtime Rule
• Daily Overtime Rule

In addition, the ability to repeat the same condition within a single condition set and the ability to “not” conditions are added.
