Self-scheduling using present job and skill qualifications

The RTSS can be configured to determine if employees can select shifts on days after their job and skill qualifications have expired. This is useful for certifications or licenses that must be renewed on an annual or other recurring basis, which employees are expected to renew on time to continue working.

When the registry parameter ALLOW_EMPLOYEE_FUTURE_QUALIFICATION_EXPIRY is set to true, employees may select shifts based on the job and skill qualifications that are valid at the time when the employee logs into the Self Scheduler. When this registry parameter is set to false, all job and skill qualifications must be effective for the employee on the shift date. Otherwise, the Self Scheduling screen does not show the shift to the employee as an available option.

See "Qualification expiry in self-scheduling" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.
