Viewing Employee Information

The following diagram displays the hierarchy of schedule elements as grouped on the Intraday page:

The Intraday page displays employee schedule information using color-coded bars set against a 24-hour time line or your organization’s pre-defined hours of operation. To identify the colors used to represent employee schedule information, a legend is provided at the bottom of the Intraday page. For more information, see Identifying Employee Schedule Information.

The employees are listed in the left-most column under the jobs to which they are assigned.

Employees who are scheduled to work, but who do not have a job assigned to them, are displayed under the Unassigned section.

Each employee row is composed of three horizontal layers that represent information about the employee at a given time.

  • The top layer represents activities performed by the employee within the scheduled time.
  • The middle layer represents the employee’s scheduled hours.
  • The bottom layer represents the shift pattern of the employee.

You can set the Intraday page to show employee schedule information using a simplified single-bar display. For more information, see Simplifying Employee Schedule Information.

An employee’s availability is only visible if the Availability Management or RTSS module is enabled.
