Filtering Schedules

You can filter the currently-retrieved schedule so that it displays only the specific information that you specify. Some filter criteria options are not available from all views.

To filter schedules:

  1. Click the Filter button in the Toolbar panel.
The Filter Selection Criteria panel is displayed. Exactly what selection criteria fields are displayed depends on the schedule view you are currently using.
  2. Select the criteria you want to use for filtering:
    • Select the Unstaffed check box to include unstaffed shifts as part of your filter criteria or clear the Unstaffed check box to only filter on staffed shifts or auto assign. Filtering on unstaffed shifts allows you to quickly view all the unstaffed shifts in the retrieved schedule so you can make manual shift assignments.

This option is available in all views except the Employee view.

    • Select an activity to use as part of your filter criteria using the Activity lookup.

This option is available in all views.

    • Select a job or job set to use as part of your filter criteria using the Job lookup. Since employees can perform multiple jobs throughout a day or shift, employees can appear under several different jobs.

This option is available in all views except the Job Requirements view.

    • Select a docket to use as part of your filter criteria using the Docket lookup.

This option is available in all views.

    • Select an employee to use as part of your filter criteria using the Employee lookup. The list of employees you can choose from is dependent on the team(s) you selected when you retrieved the schedule.

This option is available in all views except the Job Requirements view and the Day Part view.

  3. Click OK to apply the selected criteria.
If a filter is currently applied to a schedule, the Filter button on the Toolbar panel appears bold and blue.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Click Hide to hide the Filter Selection Criteria panel, but continue to filter the schedule.
    • Click Filter to remove or edit the filter criteria.
