Scheduling on-call shifts in MR or OTS

Shifts configured with an on-call type activity can be scheduled in Master Rotations or One Time Schedules, with no difference to regular work shifts. All versioning validations, book-off exception handling, and conflict management in MR or OTS applies to shifts with on-call type activity.

Employees are not allowed to be scheduled to overlapping shifts from multiple rows, even if on-call type shifts are involved. For example, an employee cannot be scheduled to be on-call for 24-hours and also be scheduled to work from 9:00 to 17:00 at the same time. However, you can assign 9:00 to 17:00 work time and 17:00 to 1:00 on-call time using multiple MR or OTS row assignments.
