Defining activity as on-call

Activities can be associated to the On-call type, which allow concurrent work time to be added to shifts with on-call activities.

To use an on-call activity in shifts, the administrator must perform this configuration:

  • A new activity must be created for on-call time (for example, ONCALL). This activity can be mapped to any time code (for example, the ONCALL time code).

  • The new activity must be associated with the On-call type.

When creating a shift on the Shift Configuration form, you can select the on-call activity in the Activity drop-down list.

Note: When defining or editing an MVS shift that contains an on-call type activity, you cannot add meal or break times.
