Associating teams with a facility

After you have defined facilities as shown in Defining facilities, you can then associate the teams you have defined in WFM with those same facilities. This procedure assumes that there is at least one team and one facility defined in WFM.

To associate a team with a facility:

  1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Advanced Settings > ES Data Definition > Facility Mapping.
  2. Select Edit for the facility you want to associate with a team.
  3. Specify this information:
    Team
    The exact team the hours are being scheduled on. Parent teams listed here will not include child teams.
    Start Date
    Effective start date for the association between the team and the facility.
    End Date
    Effective end date for the association between the team and the facility.
  4. Click Save.
The link between facilities and mappings is useful to identify the location of teams and allow you to report on specific locations based on team.
