Deleting Entities

You can use the Configuration Editor to delete all types of entities from your organization. You can delete an individual entity or multiple entities at the same time.

You cannot delete entities that are referenced by other entities, such as a store that contains departments or a department that has associated staffing requirements. If you attempt to delete an entity that references other entities, a warning message is displayed and the deletion is not performed.

To delete an entity or entities:

  1. Select Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Setup > Configuration Editor.
  2. Select or search or refine the entity type that you want to delete.
    The corresponding entities are displayed in the Results section of the Details Pane.
  3. Select the list items you want to delete in the Results table.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click OK in the confirmation dialog.
