Viewing and editing forecasts

A forecast is created using historical data for a period of time. Forecasting creates a projected labor demand by day and time interval. These projections are used with average transaction handling times to generate staff schedules, including shift times and staff assignments.

Forecasts are initially created based on the forecast driver information for each store. Once the forecast is generated, you can adjust the data manually to meet your forecasting needs.

Forecasts rely on default distribution information that is assigned to the store and special days that affect the outcome of the forecast.
