Editing a Shop Floor transaction

After a Factory Track Shop Floor record has been captured in Workforce Management and posted to the employee's timesheet, it is displayed as a work premium. Users with sufficient permissions can edit the work segments of any of the created overrides that were originally captured in Factory Track. Users can also delete records deemed no longer valid and create new records directly in Workforce Management.

Note: For auditing purposes, deleted and edited overrides are available within the OVERRIDE table, where they reside in a CANCELLED state. Cancelled overrides are not displayed in the timesheet.

To edit a Shop Floor transaction:

  1. From the employee's timesheet, click Show Edits. The overrides applied to the timesheet are displayed.
  2. Click the Edit Work Premium Time link next to the Shop Floor transaction you want to edit.
  3. Modify the fields, as necessary.
Whenever an explicit labor metric value is omitted from an override, Workforce Management uses the values from the employee's default labor allocation. Because indirect tasks are not associated with a specific operation, the docket value should be blank, unless you want to use alternative values in such cases.
  4. Click Submit to save the override.
