Time codes

For tracking operation time, two new time codes have been added to the default collection of time codes in Workforce Management:

  • OP: Used to denote an operation time segment (work performed against a specific operation).
  • SETUP: Used to denote setup time. A setup can be part of an operation or as its own operation.

In addition to these time codes, implementations can define any number of time codes for the recording of indirect task activities. Each site (location) can have its own list of time codes for time spent on indirect tasks.

Note: For Factory Track integrations, the PREMIUMS_REPLACE_SAME_TIMECODE registry parameter must be set to false. When set to true, only one premium per time code is permitted on a single day. If a second premium is recorded on that day, it will replace the first one. Setting the parameter to false allows employees to record multiple work segments related to operations (OP) on a single day.

See the Infor Workforce Management Registry Parameter Reference Guide.
