Overview
Workforce Management has a BOD-based integration with Infor EAM.
Labor hours booked for maintenance orders are recorded in Infor EAM. Clocking can either be performed within Workforce Management or labor can be tracked entirely in Infor EAM (in that case, the clocking comes from Infor EAM through the Sync.EmployeeWorkTime BOD).
This integration has these touchpoints:
- Infor EAM sends a list of open work orders and activities to Workforce Management through the MaintenanceOrder BOD. In Workforce Management, the work orders are mapped to project records and the activities are mapped to docket records.
- Infor EAM sends booked hours, which includes the work order, to Workforce Management through the EmployeeWorkTime BOD. In Workforce Management, the booked hours are mapped to work detail records and added to the employee's clock transactions.
Note: Since all times in the BODs are in UTC,
an employee's time zone must be configured in Workforce Management. This time zone is
used to convert the UTC time in the BOD to the time in the work details.
For this integration, it is assumed that the employee information of Workforce Management and Infor EAM come from the same source system.
