Performing Clock Administration Tasks

You can perform several administration tasks on the clocks connected to the WBCS using the Admin Console.

To perform clock administration tasks:

  1. Click on the Terminals tab.
  2. Right-click on a clock.
  3. Select the administration task you want to perform:
    • Disconnect: Disconnects the clock from the WBCS.
    • Program clock: Ssends program files to the clock.
    • Upload template: Retrieves biometric templates from the clock.

    • Clear reader: Clears information from the clock. The information that is deleted is specific to the type of clock. For example, selecting this option on a CMI clock deletes the biometric templates, on a Synel clock, this option deletes the transaction history.

    • Convert templates: Only applicable to WB6000 clocks, causes biometric templates in the WBCS database to be converted to a new format.

    • Conversion status: Only applicable to WB6000 clocks, displays the status of a convert templates operation.
