Feature overrides for new enhancements
Feature overrides control how new features are deployed in the Workforce Management application. Feature override ability will only exist during the release when the feature becomes available in Workforce Management. The feature override ability will be removed on the subsequent release of Workforce Management. For example, you may not want to expose a new feature to your users until they are fully trained and understand how to utilize the feature in your particular deployment of Workforce Management. In this case you can choose to enable a feature override (or keep it disabled) to keep the feature hidden from users. For other new features, you may want to immediately take advantage of new enhancements which benefit the users in your deployment. In this scenario, you can choose to disable a feature override and display the functionality for users.
Feature overrides work as follows:
- When an override is enabled for a feature (see Override Enabled = true below), the feature is hidden/inaccessible to the appropriate users in the application.
- When an override is disabled for a feature (see Override Enabled = false below), the feature is displayed and accessible to the appropriate users in the application.
