Configuring Rule Groups, Execution Groups, and Rules

This section describes how Labor Budgeting uses rule groups, execution groups, and rules to execute tasks such as:

  • recalculating data across a location because of imported or updated data
  • distributing data to child locations
  • aggregating data to parent locations
  • changing the state of a Worksheet
  • locking/unlocking a plan

The Labor Budgeting modules include default rule groups, execution groups, and rules.

The Budget Creation and the Budget Management modules each have their own rule groups, execution groups, and rules. There are others that they both use.
