Scope

The Infor Workforce Management application is not a benefit system. The Workforce Management application does not track or manage employee benefits, including any employer-provided health insurance benefits. The purpose of the Workforce Management ACA module is not to determine overall employee healthcare eligibility or to manage healthcare-related benefits that your organization may provide to your employees. The Workforce Management ACA module is limited to the measurement period that is defined by the ACA.

The ACA module is designed to help organizations meet these goals:

  1. Track service and leave time
  2. Calculate average service hours
  3. Support exporting this information to external systems

Tracking employee eligibility under the Affordable Care Act falls into three distinct categories:

  • Measurement period
  • Administrative period
  • Stability period
