Running standard reports

  1. In Birst Reports, select the report you want to run. The Selection Parameters page is displayed. This page shows the different criteria you use to specify what information is included in the report. The criteria varies between reports.
  2. Specify the selection parameters to limit the information that is included in the report, as required. Only the information matching your criteria is displayed in the report. For example, to include information about a specific pay group, specify a value in the Pay Group field (if available). The parameters that are available depend on the report that is being run.
  3. Click Go. The selection parameters are displayed at the top of the report (unless you selected No from the Show Parameters drop-down list when you ran the report). The page number is displayed at the bottom of the page.

The columns and rows that are displayed depend on the report type and the parameters that you selected.

    You can use these buttons:

Go back to report parameters selection page
Returns to the Selection Parameters page. The report parameters are preserved so you can rerun the report (and retrieve the most current data) without re-entering all the parameter values.
Note: If you selected All for a parameter value, a blank value is displayed when you return to the Selection Parameters page. A blank value is the same as All.
