Generating LFSO schedules manually
You can manually generate a week-long schedule for locations that have one or more Auto-Assignment groups.
- Select Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Schedule > Auto Assignment.
- Specify this information:
- Name
- Specify a name for the schedule.
- Location(s)
- Select the location or locations that you would like to
schedule. Note: When scheduling more than one location, the locations must have the same Schedule Requirement Interval configured in their location setup.
- Start Date
- Specify the start date for the schedule.
-
In the Staffing
Requirements section, select how Auto-Assignment generates the
staffing requirements for the location or locations:
- Load requirements minimum from location info
- Select this option to create a schedule based on the minimum staffing levels that are defined for the locations.
- Calculate requirements from the forecast
- Select this option to have Auto-Assignment generate staffing requirements from the forecast. This option uses the forecast and productivity standards in conjunction with the minimums to create the schedule.
- Load existing requirements
- Select this option to create a schedule based on the locations' existing interval requirements. Before using this option, you must generate a workload for the locations.
- Select the Auto-Assignment groups that you want to use to make the schedule from the Group(s) field, and then click Add.
- If you have selected more than one Auto-Assignment group, click and drag the groups to set the Priority order. The group with the Priority value of 1 selects employees first based on the group's employee filters, followed by other groups in ascending order.
- Click Go and then click OK to confirm.
The Auto-Assignment feature sends you a workmail notification when the Auto-Assignment process is complete. The workmail includes a link to view each schedule that was generated by the process.
