Using Biometric Validation
Biometric authentication is disabled by default in the application and on the clock. Biometric validation is enabled at the reader and employee level to provide flexibility in its implementation.
Note: If you enable both PIN and biometric
authentication for an employee, the clock will only use biometric authentication for the
employee. For this reason, Infor recommends that you only enable one type of authentication in
your configuration. For more information on enabling PIN authentication, see Enabling PIN Validation.
The employee's biometric fingerprints are synchronized across all reader groups to which they are assigned. If you are updating existing fingerprints for an employee, this change is also synchronized across all reader groups.
