Testing Templates

Once an employee has enrolled, you can test their template to ensure the WB5500 can read their fingerprint.

To test templates:

  1. Enter supervisor mode.
    See Entering Supervisor Mode.
  2. Scroll to Biometric Functions in the supervisor mode menus.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Scroll to Test finger scans in the supervisor mode menus.
  5. Press Enter. Please scan your finger is displayed.
  6. The employee must press their finger in the middle of the fingerprint scanner.
    • Passed Verification is displayed if the scan was successful.
    • Failed Verification is displayed if the scan was unsuccessful.
