Time Setting and Synchronization

There are three methods to adjusting the time on the WB5500. The time on the clock can be automatically synchronized using Web Services or an NTP server. The time can also be explicitly set in a Linux command prompt using PuTTY.

If you enter the setup screens when the clock first boots up, there are options for time synchronization. This setting must be set to “No” because this factory option may conflict with the functionality of the WB5500.

This section describes how to configure time synchronization and explicitly set the time on the WB5500 Series Clock.
