Stopping WBCS

To stop WBCS:

  1. Launch PuTTY and connect to the clock.
  2. Specify this command at the command prompt: 
    killall start start2 j9

    This command stops the three scripts that make up the clock server process.

  3. Close the PuTTY console window if the ampersand (&) character was used for running the scripts. The & allows the scripts to run in the background.
  4. Close the PuTTY application.
