Unregistering Birst content - Reports and dashboards

To remove Birst content (reports or dashboards) from the system:

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Toolkit > Birst > Birst Content Registration.
  2. Click Unregister Birst Content.
  3. On the Birst Content Registration Wizard page, select the content (report or dashboard) that you want to remove from the system and click Next.
  4. On the Confirmation page, you can review the Birst content that will be unregistered from the system.
    Note: The Birst content will not be removed from the system, only the registration of the content in the system.
  5. Click Unregister to remove the content. This operation cannot be reversed.
    Note: Unregistering a report from the application does not delete the report. To remove a report permanently, you must delete the report from Birst. Contact your Birst administrator for more informationon how to do this.
  6. The confirmation page is displayed specifying that your content has been unregistered in the system.
  7. Click OK.
  8. To clear the report entry from Birst Reports, you can unload the application cache:
    1. Navigate to Maintenance > System Administration > Console Mode.

      A new row of buttons is displayed at the top of the page.

    2. Under the Unload Cache heading, click All to clear the application cache.
    3. Click Hide.
    4. Refresh the page.
