Document Processor overview
Infor Document Processor (IDP) provides a document processing capability within Infor OS to digitize, classify, and extract data from business documents. The platform uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and generative AI models to convert unstructured content from file types such as PDFs, JPEGs, and PNGs into structured data that can be used in business workflows.
IDP supports processing of documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and packing lists. Extracted data is prepared using pre and post-processing steps and can be used to update business records. IDP is also used in several Infor Value+ solutions that require document processing and automation.
The platform connects with Infor ION for data exchange and exposes functionality through APIs available in the API Gateway. Processed documents can be stored and managed in Infor Document Management (IDM), ensuring support for access control and compliance with security standards.
