SA Administrator Options - Documents - Sales Orders - Quote Orders field descriptions
- Months History
-
Specify the number of months sales order history to review when determining the highest price paid for products. You can specify up to 99 months.
By specifying several months history value greater than zero, you are activating the Highest Price Paid pricing search logic. If this is activated, when a product is entered on a sales order, sales order history is searched for the selected customer and product for the specified number of months. If prices are found that are higher than the price currently defaulting on the sales order line, the highest price the customer paid for that product is defaulted in the Price field. Certain exceptions exist.
See Highest Price Paid.
- Exclude Level 2
-
Select this option to exclude Level 2 prices, and level 1 prices, from highest price paid replacement when searching sales history to determine the highest price paid by a customer for a product. Pricing Level 2 price types are: Cust/Product Price Types, Cust/Prod Line, Cust/Prod Cat, or Cust/Rebate Type.
If you select the SA Administrator Options-Products option, Allow Override of Contractual Level Pricing in Multiple Level Search, any orders where a product price was replaced with a “best price” could be replaced by a higher calculated price. We recommend you do not use this option with Highest Price Paid pricing override as these two pricing methodologies may conflict.
