Alternate login

Use an alternate login when you must sign in to a second workstation to perform a task in Distribution SX.e. This may be required when you assist another user and must sign in to their station to authorize a task they are trying to perform. With an alternate login, you are not required to sign out of your session on your own workstation. You can use an alternate login to sign in to another workstation with the same Infor Ming.le user account.

To set up an alternate login, you must create a second operator record in SA Operator Setup. Select New > Create Like and specify the original operator ID. This copies the value in the IFS USER GUID field from the original record to the second, new record. Specify the second operator ID in the Alternate Login field on the original operator record.

When you sign in to the second workstation and access Distribution SX.e, you can select the alternate login operator ID on the sign-in page.

Limit the number of alternate logins that you create in each company. The number of users that are permitted to use Distribution SX.e may be tracked. When you have completed your task, immediately sign out of your alternate login session to prevent anyone from accessing the application with your credentials.
