Shipping warehouse transfers

To ship a warehouse transfer, it must be in Stage 1 (Ordered) or Stage 2 (Picked). If one line item is requested, the entire transfer is in Stage 0 (Requested). You cannot access transfers with requested lines in Transfer Shipping Feedback Entry. You cannot use the Quick Ship method to ship a transfer that contains unapproved line items.

  1. Select Transfer > Entry > Shipping.
  2. If you know the transfer number, you can use the Quick Ship feature. Otherwise, skip this step.
    To use the Quick Ship Feature:
    1. Click Quick Ship.
    2. Specify the transfer number.
    3. Click Ship. If the transfer is a Direct Order, click Ship All, Auto Receive Directs to automatically place the transfer in Received stage.
    4. Open a journal if required.
    5. Click Final Update.
    6. Click Yes to confirm.
  3. Conduct a search to locate the transfer, and then open the record.
  4. Click OK to open a journal.
  5. Optionally, edit the transfer.
  6. On the Warehouse Transfer Shipping Entry window, select the transfer and verify that the transfer is in the shipped stage.

    To view the transfer in the grid, you may be required to conduct another search for transfers in the shipped stage.

  7. Click Submit.
  8. Click Yes to confirm the final update.
