Will Call order workflow

Orders with a Will Call disposition are orders that the customer picks up after it has been filled. Available stock is set aside and is not available to fill another order. The ship to address is not printed on the pick ticket to prevent the order from being shipped. Your internal procedures might vary from this workflow.

  1. Verify that all items on the order were picked and staged, or back ordered as requested by the customer.
  2. Notify the Customer Service Representative that the order is ready.
  3. When the customer arrives, collect the products from the staging area per the pick ticket. The Customer Service Representative notifies the customer that the order is available for pick up.
  4. Verify the products and quantities with the customer. The customer sign the pick ticket, and receives a copy of the pick ticket.
  5. Ship the order.
