Date repetitions

The majority of your schedule types rely on date repetitions with linear time repetitions for their schedule. All scheduling assignments in Report Scheduler apply to specific dates, times, or cycles of times, with time meaning hours and minutes. To schedule reports and job groups by the week day, month, or year, the reporting service uses the Report Schedule table values set up in SA Table Code Value Setup-Report Schedules.

When you set up this table, you can specify an * to represent all, such as all months, or days, or years. You can specify la to represent last for the day field (the last day of the month). Days are represented by their numerical value, for example, 1 through 31. Weekdays are represented by the first two letters of their name. For example, specify mo for Monday. You can string months, days, years, and weekdays together, separated by commas. Do not use spaces.

The table shows some examples of values you can set up in as schedule types. You do not have to use the specific ID names for these schedules. They are suggestions. The ID must be four characters or less.
