Acct Structue

Account Size / Delimiter

This is a required field. At least one digit must be specified for the account number. Specify the delimiting character to display between the account and subaccount sections. If you specify 0 to indicate that you do not use the subaccount, leave the account delimiter field blank. Defining a delimiter without a subaccount causes it to display at the end of the account number without subaccount numbers defined.

Department Size / Delimiter

If your Chart of Accounts includes Department, specify the number of digits in the account code department section. This must be four or fewer. Specify 0 to indicate that departments are not used. Specify the delimiting character to display between the department and account sections.

Division Size / Delimiter

If your Chart of Accounts includes Division, specify the number of digits for the account code division section. This must be four or fewer. Specify the delimiting character to display between the division and department account code sections. If divisions are not being used, set the division size to 0.

Subaccount Size

Specify the number of digits in your subaccount. Specify 0 if subaccounts are not used. If you specify 0 in this field, leave the Delimiter field blank.

Note:  The sum of the length of the variables must be a maximum of 18 digits plus three characters for the delimiters. This includes the maximum of ten digits for the account and subaccount sections.
