Modifying Advanced Search in the Personalize window

  1. In the Advanced Search window, select More... > Personalize.
  2. Click Edit to modify one of these views:
    • shared-advanced-search-advancedsearchmodal

      In this view, you can personalize controls in the title bar of the window, including the title and the Search, Save Search, Reset, and Close buttons. Your changes are applied to all Advanced Search windows in the application.

    • shared-advanced-search-advancedsearch

      In this view, you can personalize the Criteria field, Saved Searches field, and the Delete Search button. Your changes are applied to all Advanced Search windows in the application.

    • <module acronym>-<function acronym>-master-advancedcriteria

      Examples of this view are oe-oeio-master-advancedcriteria for Sales Order Inquiry and ar-aric-master-advancedcriteria for Customer Inquiry.

      In this view, you can personalize the controls that are unique to the function, include the field set labels and the associated fields. Your changes are only applied to the Advanced Search window for the function.

  3. Select a level.
  4. If you selected Profile, specify the name of the profile.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Select the control to personalize.
  7. Select Edit or Move.
  8. To edit the control, specify your preferred settings in the Edit Control window, and then click OK.
  9. To move the control, drag the control to a new position, or click Back or Forward.
  10. Click Save.
    Note: If the level that you modified is higher than the current level of your live UI, then the modified level is applied to your live UI the next time you access the function.
