- (S)tock (R)eceiving or (H)andheld labels
-
Specify (S)tock to use your Product Warehouse Product Setup record for bin location, base price, vendor, quantity on hand, and product line information to include on your labels. The Product Setup record provides product description and stocking unit information for your stock labels.
Specify (R)eceiving to use Purchase Entry Receipt of Inventory as your label source. If you print labels from Receiving, you must also specify the journal number under which the products were received on the For Receiving Labels, Enter the Journal# option.
You can also specify a purchase order number in the and optionally a PO# - Suffix field.
Specify (H)andheld to use a portable handheld device as your label source. This provides a means of collecting data in a field environment for processing at a central location. Data is entered into the unit through a keyboard or through a bar code reading device. It is stored in the unit's memory and remains accessible until erased. Data output is exactly as it is received from the device. System requirements may vary with handheld units.
