Transfer Demand Center Entry - Merge overview
Use this page to merge Transfer RRAR reports as the final step in the transfer replenishment process.
By this point, you have performed these tasks:
- Ran the Transfer Entry Recommended Replenishment Action Report to generate transfer review reports
- Manually reviewed and accepted each report in Transfer Demand Center Entry
Now you can merge the accepted reports to create warehouse transfers. You can merge all selected RRARs from the Transfer Demand Center Entry grid, or merge all transfer RRARs.
Auto merging transfers
You can automatically create warehouse transfers for reports in Transfer Entry RRAR Merge Process Report when the Merge flag is Yes in Transfer Demand Center Entry. Select the Auto Merge option in Product Warehouse Description Setup to create convert Transfer RRAR reports to warehouse transfers in Transfer Entry RRAR Merge Process Report.
- There must be at least one line on the Transfer RRAR with the Accept Type option set to Yes. This option indicates there is stock to ship on the transfer. This is dependent on the setting for the option, Default Line Acceptance, in SA Administrator Options-Documents-Transfer Order-Replenishment.
- You must have set up an @mrgwtrr merge stored report for Transfer Entry RRAR Merge Process Report. This stored report is used by Transfer Entry Recommended Replenishment Action Report to create the records used during the merge process.
If a Transfer RRAR is set to auto-merge, it is not included in the Transfer Entry Recommended Replenishment Action Report output. The transfer lines are accepted and ready to merge, so there is no need to include them on the report.
If there is a lag between the creation of the Transfer Entry Recommended
Replenishment Action Report and when you run Transfer Entry
RRAR Merge Process Report, you can view the report in
Transfer Demand Center Entry. The message RRAR is
Flagged As An Auto Merge RRRA (8050)
is displayed if you try to access
the report.
