WM Audit Report overview

The WM Audit Report is especially useful when you initially set up your system or convert your data from an existing system. It is also possible for your Warehouse Manager information to become out of balance due, to system failures, power outages, or other extraneous reasons.

Transparent updates include storing the primary or single bin locations in the Product Warehouse Product Setup Bin Loc #1 field. If your Delete Transactions When Complete option in SA Admin Options-Products-Warehouse Manager is Yes, Stage 4 (Finished) WM transaction records will be purged to keep your database clean. Several comparisons are made and exception messages will be displayed for discrepancies.

We recommended you print the WM Audit Report in non-update mode before actually updating the Warehouse Manager files. After the Warehouse Manager files are updated, there is no way to automatically reverse the changes.

If you have an Open, Staging, or Unavailable bin with attached product records that have a zero quantity, no active Stage 1 (Entered) WM transaction records, and no active count in progress, the product records will be removed.

The WM Audit Report considers the WM transaction records to be correct and the WM Bin Location and Product Setup records to be incorrect. If you set the option Update Bin Quantities? to Yes, the WM Bin Location and Product Setup) records will be updated to reflect the WM transaction records.

These conditions will cause an exception message to print on the report if the Audit Product and Setup? option is Yes.

Message	Condition
No ICSW /ICSP Available	Product Setup record does not exist.
Product Not Whse Mgr	Product set up in a Warehouse Manager bin, but Warehouse Manager option in Product Warehouse Product Setup is No.
WM Product Status Questionable	Product Warehouse Product Setup record indicates product is order as needed, direct ship, or Product Setup status is inactive, labor, or build on demand kit.
ICSW /WMSB Bin Type Conflict	Product Warehouse Product Setup and WM Bin Location and Product Setup bin types not the same.
ICSW Restrict To Conflict	Product Warehouse Product Setup Restrict To field is not blank and the entry does not match the bin location building/row.
ICSPCube = 0	The Product Setup Cube field is zero and the Product Warehouse Product Setup Allocate field is 'cube'.
Minimum/Maximum Error	For a primary bin, if the maximum is less than the minimum, or the maximum equals zero.
Two Primary Bin Locations	Product set up in two primary bins.
Single Bin Product Set Up Elsewhere	Single bin product set up in more than one bin.
More than One Product Set Up in Bin	Multiple products set up in bin and Allow Multiple Products Per Bin option in SA Admin Options-Products-Warehouse Manager is No.
WMSB Status Code Questionable	Primary or single bin status set to unavailable or inactive. Bin set up as a staging bin, but status is not staging. Bin has status of staging, but assignment is not staging.
