VA Product Default Setup - Sections - Extended overview
Use this window to add set up extended information for the selected fabrication product.
- extended inspection process (IS)
- internal process (IT)
- inventory component (IN)
- external process (EX)
After you create an Inventory Component (IN) section with a Vendor destination, if you then create an External Process (EX) section, the External Vendor # and Ship To from the IN section are the default values. If you create another EX section, the and from the last EX section created are the default values. When you add a new section, if only one section code has been defined in SA Table Code Value Setup for the section type that single code is the default value for field. If you are adding multiple sections of the same type, the default section code is the last section code used for that type.
