VA Product Default Setup - VA Assembly Segment Rules overview
Use this window to define rules for Configurable assembly-type product segments. Rules are not required.
You can use rules to specify additional checks on the assembly of products, especially when segments depend on the configuration of other segments. You can have an unlimited number of rules for a each segment. The VA Assembly Segment Rules window is displayed when you click on the VA Product Default Setup - Assembly view.
Rules
When you click on the VA Assembly Segment Rules - Segment # window, you can maintain the user field setup for the assembly segment rule being created. Use the standard VA Product Default Setup - Custom view to set up user fields for the assembly, assembly segments, and assembly segment rules. These tables must be enabled through administrative options. Standard user field functionality applies.
