TWL Administrator User Specific Configuration - Detail overview

TWL > Administration > User Specific Configuration

Use this page to view the details for a selected question.

You can view the details of any Default-level question, but you cannot modify them. You must copy the default and maintain the Company-Warehouse version of the question.

Click Edit to modify Company-Warehouse and Company-Warehouse-User versions of a question. These conditions are applied:

  • The Company-Warehouse versions are created by you when you copy a default question.
  • The Company-Warehouse-User versions are created when you select Create Employee Specific Version On Next Encounter on the Company-Warehouse version and the RF user encounters that question on their device. You can access the Company-Warehouse-User version after the user has encountered the question to edit it.

Modify a Company-Warehouse or Company-Warehouse-User version of a question in these situations:

  • To change the wording of a question.
  • To set the default answer to a question as Yes. Leave the Default Answer is Yes option unchecked to set the default answer as No.
  • To allow for a user-specific version of a question. Select the Create Employee Specific Version On Next Encounter option to create a user-specific version of the question the next time the user encounters that question on their RF device, which then automatically creates a record linked to the user's RF User ID. After it is created, use the Search panel to filter for Company-Warehouse-User questions. Drill down on the user-specific question to maintain it.
  • To modify a question to apply an automatic response rather than require the user to specify a response. This eliminates user intervention in tasks and expedites processing. When you select Automatically Answer With The Default for a question, the automatic answer uses the default answer setting.

Use caution when selecting Automatically Answer With The Default to avoid skipping responses that could impact processing.
