SA Table Code Value Setup - Division overview

System Administrator > Setup > Table Code Value

If you use full or partially divisionalized accounting, use this page to define the different divisions in your company.

You can use divisionalized accounting to create financial statements by division. For example, Division 1 may be for the corporate office, Division 10 may be the main distribution location, and Division 20 may represent the remote warehouse.

Depending on the type of divisionalized accounting you implement for your company, divisions can be assigned to these records in Distribution SX.e: Customer, Vendor, Banks and Checking Accounts, General Ledger, Warehouses and Warehouse Products, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Transfers.

Security can be assigned to individual operators in SA Operator Setup to restrict them to see data for these records in allowed divisions only.

After adding the division, click Add to access the Additional Information view to define tax information.
