Use this page to create a new operator record.

Note: In CloudSuite Distribution, you can manually create Distribution SX.e operator records. We recommend using automated provisioning to ensure that the values from Infor Ming.le user records are correct on the Distribution SX.e operator records. See the Infor CloudSuite DistributionConfiguration Guide.

To minimize maintenance on a new record, use the Create Like feature to copy an existing operator record. You can copy an individual operator record or a master operator record that you set up as a template for each operator profile. If you do not use the Create Like feature, system default settings are used.

The operator initials specified on an operator's record must be unique. You cannot use the same operator initials on more than one operator record within a company. For example, you cannot use "JS01" for both Jane Smith and John Smith. You cannot use the same operator initials in multiple companies unless the record is for the same operator. This is determined by the value in the Full Name field. For example, you can use "JS01" to create a record for Jane Smith in companies 100 and 200. You cannot use those operator initials to create an operator record for Jane Smith in company 100 and John Smith in company 200.

You are not required to use the same operator initials for an operator in different companies. You can use "JS01" for Jane Smith in company 100 and "JASM" for Jane Smith in company 200.
