SA Administrator Commerce Catalog Load Report overview

Use this report to initially load product records into the Storefront Catalog database for use by the Infor Storefront application. Use this load function only if you have purchased the eCommerce Catalog/Storefront applications.

This function completes a one-time load of the c table that is required for eCommerce Catalog to work correctly. The file load must be completed before you use eCommerce Catalog or Storefront. The file is used to keep item records in the catalog synchronized to your system's product database. A new record containing key information is automatically created in the Recordsync table by SX.api calls from the system if a change is made to one of these records is made after the initial load:

  • Product Setup
  • Product Catalog Setup
  • Product Warehouse Product Setup

The SX.api calls ensure that only new record data is sent in real time to the eCommerce Catalog.

This process loads the Product Setup and Product Warehouse Product Setup records from only the company that you are signed in to. If you are loading catalog records, all qualifying catalog records from Product Catalog Setup are loaded because they are not company specific. To load product records from other companies in your system database, you must log into each company and then run SA Commerce Catalog Load Report.

Whenever product records are deleted, their matching records in the Recordsync table are inactivated. You can also use this report to periodically clear out inactive records, which is recommended if the number of inactive records begin to accumulate.
