RS Queue Setup overview

Report Scheduler > Setup > Queue

Function acronym: RSSQ

Use this function to create and maintain print queues for Report Scheduler. You then assign jobs or reports to a queue, which are processed by Report Scheduler, based on the priority you assign to each queue.

You can use these controls to maintain one or more queues:

  • Status > Make Active or Make Inactive: Changes the status for all selected rows. You are prompted to confirm the status change before you can continue.
  • Change > Change Priority: Provides access to the Change Queue Priority page, where you can specify a new priority for all selected records.
  • Change > Change Max Concurrent Jobs: Provides access to the Change Max Concurrent Jobs page, where you can specify a new Max Concurrent Job for the selected queues.
  • Change > Change Log Directory: Provides access to the Change Log Directory page, where you can specify a new log directory for all selected records.
